The resurrection!

First, I want to apologize for the continued absence of these blog posts. And second I’d like to thank you for your patience, prayers, cards and care packages. It’s very hard for me to wrap my mind around living in Himjei, Japan for over a year. So many things have happened. No. Really. So many things have happened over the last few months that it was really difficult to make time to document it all and share it as well as enjoy the moment.

I would love to recap and share all the most exciting things that I’ve experienced in my first year living abroad. So far I’ve been to dentists, emergency rooms, general practioners, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Okinawa, camping, hiking, hibernating, wineries, beer gardens, Hong Kong Disney, babysitting, fish sitting, basketball club practices, beaches, relaxation massages, bass lessons, Japanese lessons, Shodo club, English club, sand dunes, sand museums, and far more than I can remember at this moment.

I think the best way to begin this recap is by starting, not with specific events, but with months. So expect the following blog posts to be by month starting with Janruary. I will continue to update this blog with current events once we have completed this recap and caught you up on my life.

Again, thank you for keeping up with me. And I hope you enjoy the first resurrection of this blog. I`m sure there are bound to be others.
